What’s the Opportunity

As a Key Account Manager at DoneDeal.ie, you will lead our efforts in maintaining and growing relationships with strategic car and commercial dealers, ensuring their success on our platform.


You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, leveraging your expertise in the motor and digital industries to offer innovative solutions and strategies for optimising their digital performance. This role requires a strong focus on account management, thought leadership, and delivering excellence to our customers, in line with our company culture.


What will I be doing

  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers among our strategic dealer partners, understanding their business goals and challenges

  • Serve as a thought leader and industry expert, providing strategic guidance and actionable insights to clients to enhance their digital performance on DoneDeal

  • Identify and pursue revenue opportunities within existing client accounts through proactive account management and consultative selling, creating deeper partnerships and long-term growth

  • Lead efforts in prospecting and acquiring new strategic clients, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to identify and capitalise on sales prospects

  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

  • Demonstrate mastery of our digital solution portfolio, tailoring offerings to meet the specific needs and objectives of each client while ensuring we achieve agreed ROI goals

  • Utilise advanced CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to effectively manage client relationships, track sales activities, and provide accurate sales forecasts

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns and initiatives, driving mutually beneficial outcomes

  • Take a proactive approach to anticipating and addressing client needs and concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, sharing relevant insights with both clients and internal stakeholders.

Job requirements

What skills and experience do I need

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Key Account management or strategic sales roles, preferably within the online marketplace or digital advertising industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex accounts and driving revenue growth through consultative selling and relationship-building.

  • Strong understanding of the automotive and digital industries, with the ability to translate industry knowledge into actionable strategies for clients.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive performance optimization.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
